Special note for papers on special relativity, general relativity, quantum theory, and the theory of evolution

If your paper's central claim is that one of these theories is incorrect, or if it crucially relies on such a claim, then your paper is not appropriate for this journal, even if your argument is based on philosophical, social, historical, or other, perhaps non-empirical, considerations, and even if you draw philosophical consequences from your conclusion that one or more of these theories is incorrect.
